Calling a hotline is the most common way people reach out to get help for an abusive relationship.
You can call or text a hotline number to talk to an advocate if you’re trying to decide whether to stay or leave, or if you’re feeling uncertain or frightened. If you think you’re in immediate danger, you should call 911.
Concerned family, friends, and co-workers can also call or text to speak to an advocate about the person they are worried about.
